Minute for Mission

Each summer, our VBS children learn about, and support 2 missions. The HPC congregation is also invited to join them, as we donate to Carmel Presbyterian Church and Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank.

We are giving a gift of 4039 diapers to Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank ! Thank you to all who donated- we are "changing the bottom line for families in need".

School supplies for Carmel Presbyterian will be collected through July 28th

Crayons (24 packs), kid scissors, 3 ring pocket folders, 3 ring loose-leaf notebook paper, glue sticks, pencils, block erasers, pencil-top erasers, and backpacks (new or gently used). Each additional $5.00 cash donation will help purchase a new backpack for each child.

HPC Children grades K – 12 will be sorting and packing the school supplies on Wednesday, August 7 at 6:00 pm. Sign up in the Atrium if you can join us.

Journeying Jesus

This summer, as you travel, discover adventures, and relax on vacation, remember that God never takes a vacation from loving, protecting, and guiding us. Take time each day to look for God Sightings; those ordinary (or not so ordinary) moments, when you see God at work in the world. By looking at our daily activities, through the eyes of faith, we can respond in gratitude and grow in faith.

Pick up "Journeying Jesus" at the Children's Minsitry Bulletin Board, and carry him with you during your travels.

When you have a God Sighting, take a picture, and share it with us on Facebook and use the hashtags, #journeyingjesus #godsightings.
