Sarah Baker - Accompanist/Organist

SARAH J. BAKER was hired in the summer of 2010 to be the Accompanist and Organist at Heritage.  In addition to sharing her talents at Heritage, she is in her tenth year as director of choral music at Little Miami High School in Morrow, Ohio (about 30 miles Northeast of Cincinnati), where she conducts five ensembles and teaches two levels of music theory. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Muskingum College and a master of Music in Choral Conducting from Ohio University, where she studied with Dr. Peter Jarjisian. Further conducting study includes work with James Gallagher, Richard Mathey and Jerry Blackstone.


Prior to Mrs. Baker’s assistantship at Ohio University, she was an elementary music specialist for the Marietta City Schools, then served as vocal music director, K-12, for the Noble Local Schools.
